A foil mold (more accurately called a foil stamping die) is a custom-made metal plate used in hot foil stamping to press metallic or colored foil onto a printed surface. in other words, It’s the metal tool that creates shiny gold, silver, or holographic effects on book covers, packaging, business cards, etc. This is very popular for special edition book printing covers & dust Jackets.
How It Works
